Originally from Oslo, in Norway, ‘Dear Miles‘ is a very brand new independent artists who produces his own music as well as doing video editing and graphic design. He started off with listening to rock, metal and punk, for then falling deeply in love with electronic music.

His main source of inspiration is Zhu, although their styles of music don’t necessarily match with each other. In addition, even thought Dear Miles isn’t touring soon, he has a lot of fresh music coming up, and in this case we have a very intriguing story to tell about his freshly released single ‘Sisyphus’ which is related to the consequences that every action has.

‘Sisyphus’ is a figure from Greek mythology who, as king of Corinth, became infamous for his general trickery and twice cheating his
destiny (death). He ultimately got his comeuppance when Zeus dealt him the eternal punishment of forever rolling a boulder up a hill in the depths of Hades.

This story describes a specific period of time where Dear Miles was in isolation, depressed and injured. He was looking for something to keep him entertained and decided to record the chords in two minutes and build the entire track.
