YMX:You recently released LAST TUESDAY’S WARP. Can you tell us how that project came about?

Unom JG: ‘Last Tuesdays Warp’ is a song created in a time where I was in search of an abundance pure hope I could share. It had been a year since I quit my part time job and the freedom was sweet and also unnerving at times. With every choice I made to do what I live for and love, I got confirmation that I was on the right clandestine path to a safe place to cultivate this hope I was seeking. The sounds are designed to lead the listener.

YMX:What inspires your songwriting work?

Unom JG: The emotion that holds me while I am feeling still. These moments when everything is moving and I decide to stop and look at all that is moving

YMX: We are all missing live music at the moment. Once on the other side, which music venue would you choose for your first gig?

Unom JG: Glastonbury!. I would enjoy performing this song for crowd that lay down and close their eyes as this song sweeps them away

YMX: What’s your band strategy in terms of music promotion? Direct-2-fans or via the “big dogs”?

Unom JG: A bit of both. I am collaborating with the great UK based label At Swim music on the release and promotion this track.
