The third music release on Larizzle’s new record label. Larah Records. A label started in memory of Larizzle’s late daughter, brings us the atmosphere of South African Amapiano and UK funk house in ‘The Piano Song‘ in collaboration with London producer Jay Baptiste. The award-winning DJ has supported the likes of Mark Ronson, Skepta and Stormzy to say the least. His award-winning decade of a career has shown his versatility in creation helping improve the catalogue of UK Afro House.

The track carries similarities to that of Mr Eazi and those warm synths that sweep through Ibiza deep house classics. The bounce of percussion intertwining with the slowed tempo emphasises the use of a clean twinkled piano sample. With a more relaxed and soothing vibe, the Amapiano elements drive the feel of the track leaning towards a root of those deep house sets we see do so well on Cercle. Ultimately a cornerstone for the future of the label, Jay Baptiste’s involvement not only lends credibility but the foundation of the sound and how it fits into an ever diverse genre.
