Although Dom Malin may come across as a private personality that doesn’t reveal much, his songs offers the very opposite. It’s through his music you can find which emotions and experiences he has gone through as he allows you into his inner world.
The British singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist is inspired by the likes of Father John Misty and Ben Howard – but has with his unique voice mastered the skill of creating his own recognisable sound.
‘Eye Of The Storm’ is Malin’s 3rd self released single this years and it was written and recorded in his bedroom during UK’s first lockdown.
The track is very honest and deals with the realisation of when love within a relationship has disappeared and the relation no longer is what it used to be. The raw emotion translates into folky melodic guitars, percussion that builds that extra dynamic and Malin’s memorable voice.
Although the tune is about loosing love it is uplifting to listen to Malin’s story and with his skilled storytelling he will pull the listener in and keep you engaged until the very end.
