Discovering 5-piece alt-indie-rock. THE LOFT CLUB is a British indie band comprised of Daniel Schamroth (guitar/vocals), Jamie Whyte (bass/vocals), Kieran Chalmers (drums), Amy O’Loughlin (vocals), and Sam Piper (lead guitar). The band’s main influences are Buffalo Springfield, Fleetwood Mac e The Byrds fino a Ryan Adams e Noel Gallagher, and another endless series of different musical nuances. Last August they released their album “DREAMING THE IMPOSSIBLE”: guitars, contagious melodies, rock-n-roll, powerful bass, but also melancholy and love: this is The Loft Club, and also much more remains…it’s up to you to discover them! Born in 2015 from a series of random encounters, they began to play in clubs and festivals, until in 2016 they signed a contract with an American label: from that moment began their musical rise, which led them to have many fans.
The band also boasts several collaborations with important artists in the music scene, so their path is certainly not downhill! This album touches on several points of music: from indie rock /folk-rock with a flash of psychedelic guitar sixties, brit-pop nineties and alt-country, to emphasize their “chameleon” skill. “This is an album for the purists,” says Schamroth. “I’m one of those old school romantics who still practices the dying art of donning the headphones and consuming an album from start to finish via candlelight, with a sleeve in hand. I don’t know if anyone listens to albums like that anymore, but I certainly do.“
A BAND THAT YOU HAVE TO LISTEN, YOU’RE NOT GONNA BE DISAPPOINTED.
